Also attending the ceremony, held at the Small and Medium Business (UKM) convention center, were Dekranas chairperson Herawati Boediono, wife of Vice President Boediono.
The event was also attended by ministers including Industry Minister MS Hidayat, Culture and Tourism Minister Jero Wacik, Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, State Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Syarifuddin Hassan, and Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo.
This year`s celebration was themed Improving the Economy Through Environmentally-Friendly National Craft Innovation.
Later the First Lady looked around an exhibition organized by Dekranas.
