Eyewitnesses said the fire which broke out at 08.00 p.m. started at one of the houses and spread to nearby buildings.
The fire spread so quickly that all contents of the house could not be saved, they said.
Three of the houses were leveled to the ground and two others had several parts burnt.
Five fire trucks were sent to the scene a few minutes after the fire broke out. The fire could be put out one-and-a-half hours later.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. But firefighters believed the fire was caused by a short circuit. (*)
