The three were arrested in different places namely in the district of Poso and the district of Tojo Unauna, Poso resort police chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Pulung Rohmadianto said when contacted by phone for his confirmation here Tuesday evening.
The three are known by their initials as AM alias PE, ZH and MS alias PA.
Puling said AM alias PE was arrested in Tojo Unauna that borders Poso district at around 5pm local time on Monday. "He was caught at five o`clock yesterday while he was taking a walk with his wife," Pulung said.
ZH and MS alias PA meanwhile were arrested in Lape village in the Poso Pesisir subdistrict on Tuesday afternoon.
Pulung said the police have confiscated 78 rounds of 7.8 milimeter calibre ammunition from AM alias PE.
He said 51 of the bullets are for M16, 10 for AK47 and 17 for a garand.
Pulung said AM alias PE obtained the bullets from MS alias PA. "AM bought the bullets from MS alias PE," he said.
He said the police had detained AM alias PE while they have not yet questioned his wife.
Police discovered some evidence materials when the searched at the house of ZH in Lape village, Poso Pesisir, at a.20pm.
"The search was done by a team of officers from the Poso Resort Police and anti-terrorism unit Densus 88," he said.
Among the materials found were eight motorcycle keys, two bags of iron pieces, a motorcycle muffler, a 14-page Islam World News magazine titled "Cam Abu Bakar dan Masa Depan Jihad Moro" (Cam Abu Bakar and the future of Jihad in Moro), an MP3 containing a jihad song.
From MS the police confiscated two boots, a laptop, a flash disc, a modem, seven jihad cassettes, a PVC pipe, a coil of cable, a book written by Imam Santoso titled "Senyum Sang Mujahid Terakhir" (the final smile of a fighter).
Pulung said the search and arrest was completed at around 3.15pm.
