Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that the 2012 draft state budget had incorporated anticipatory measures against all possibilities, including risks that might arise in the present world financial turmoil.

The President who chaired a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Office here on Thursday, said that the draft state budget had taken into account all aspects.

"God Willing, I will deliver the 2012 draft state budget and financial notes at a joint session. All aspects have been taken into account," the President said.

Yudhoyono will deliver the 2012 state budget at a joint session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and Regional Representatives Council (DPD) on August 16, 2011.

The head of state hoped that the financial turmoil in the United States and Europe, which had affected stock indexes throughout the world, would not be as deep as those in 2008 and 2009.

For this, the President said the government, the monetary authorities and businesses in all regions must prepare themselves to anticipate possible risks.

The President ordered the ranks and files of the economic ministries to continue building communications and coordination with the business world throughout Indonesia.

"One of the keys to our success in the past was that because we discussed, communicated and consulted all steps we took, though the decision at the government level was made by me," Yudhoyono said.

The president also ordered the economic ministries to keep abreast of the world economic developments and made fast response, even if the Indonesian economy right now was better than the one when Indonesia was facing the 2008 global financial crisis.

The government has prepared polices similar to those it adopted when the global crisis hit the world in 2008, so that Indonesia would not lose the momentum which at present had good prospect.
