Thirty-seven people have so far been questioned as witnesses,"
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Police have put six people on their wanted list following a suicide bomber`s attack on a church in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday (Sept 25).

"Right now we have declared six people wanted in connection with the bombing attack in Solo," chief of the National Police Headquarters public relations division, Inspector General Anton Bachrul Alam, said here on Friday.

The initials of four of the six wanted persons were B, H, Y and H while the names of the two others had yet to be verified, he said.

"Thirty-seven people have so far been questioned as witnesses," he added.

Anton said the wanted people were members of an old cell linked to the suicide bombing attack at the Adz Zikra mosque in the Cirebon city police compound by Mochammad Syarif on April 15, 2011.

The suicide bomber at the Bethel Injil Sepenuh Church (BPIS) in Solo was known as Pino Damayanto alias Ahmad Urip alias Ahmad Yosefa alias Hayat alias Rajarjo. He died in the attack that hurt 22 people.

Ahmad and Syarif were both active members of the JAT Cirebon chapter led by Agung Nur Alam alias Abu Husama.

Syarif was sworn in by Abu Bakar Ba`asyir (JAT chief), who has been put in jail for involvement in terrorism activities, in Tasikmalaya in 2008 along with ten other JAT Cirebon chapter members.

Syarif was also active participating in the prayers gathering led by Ba`asyir in several locations in West Java.

Syarif also received doctrine from Oman Abdurrahman alias Oman besides from Agung Nur Alam.

Oman who is now jailed in connection with his involvement in the terrorism activity in Aceh has taught that conducting a robbery for supporting their activities is justifiable calling it a "fa`i".(*)
