"I do not know whether the new board will be a `dream team', but since the team has been chosen by the president director-elect, there is no reason the members won't gel well," Dahlan said.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State Enterprise Minister Dahlan Iskan has named Saiful Hadi, currently the news director of ANTARA, to succeed Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf as the news agency`s president director.
"It was decided yesterday (October 8)," Dahlan said here on Tuesday.
"Hadi scored the highest in the fit and proper test," he added.
The minister also appointed Akhmad Kusaeni as the news director, Endah Sri Wahyuni as the finance director, Naufal Mahfudz as the human resources and general affairs director, and Hempi N. Prajudi as the marketing director.
Dahlan stated that he appointed the four directors on the recommendation of Hadi.
"I have no idea about selecting the appropriate candidates for those positions. Therefore, I leave it to the president director," he said.
Dahlan expressed hope that the new board of directors would lead ANTARA in a better direction.
"My background is not media, so I fully leave it to my colleagues at ANTARA to take this institution forward. I don`t ask for or set a target; it`s fully in the hands of the board of directors," he explained.
