Junior Attorney General of the Intelligence Service Edwin Pamimpin Situmorang said here on Wednesday Slamet was picked up from a house at the Harapan Jaya complex , North Bekasi, on Tuesday night.
Slamet Bintoro (54), who has been convicted for stealing Rp2.3 billion in state fund together with nine other members of the regional legislative body, was nabbed in Bekasi.
With Slamet, the law enforcement agency has arrested nine former Bengkulu regional legislators for the period of 1999-2004.
Eight other were arrested in different places in Jakarta and Riau and sent back to Bengkulu to serve their jail term of 4 years each.
The ten convicts fled when they were to be sent to jail after the Supreme Court declared them guilty .
Another convict Yun Zainudin (74) is still at large.(*)
