On the occasion, Attorney General HM Prasetyo said the main agenda of his offices policies was to reinforce public faith in the institution.
"On the one hand, public expectation for the office is very high, but on the other, public confidence in the office is very low. This is a challenge we must overcome to restore our reputation," he noted.
"We have no choice but to work, work, and work. The job of a prosecutors office as a law enforcement institution is to safeguard and support the national policy to improve the welfare of the people," he emphasized.
In view of that, he called on all heads of the provincial-level prosecutors offices to present at the meeting their views, inputs as well as the problems they face.
The meeting between the President and heads of the high prosecutors offices was held behind closed doors.(*)
