"He suggested me to be calm, prepare myself and understand what Jokowi-JK (Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla) had done so far. So when the problem arose, I already knew (how to manage)," Amin said prior to the debate at Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Sunday evening.
Amin is expected to deliver his vision and mission for his candidacy as vice president. He wishes to provide programs that can be beneficial for public, to build a better future for the country.
Amin, who is a respected cleric, said, if necessary, he would recite verses from the Quran during the debate to support his arguments.
Amin has prepared himself to talk on a number of issues regarding education, health, labor, social and culture, which are the themes of today's debate.
The issue of labor, according to him, is not something new since it has long been a problem.
Solution to address such issue, Amin added, had been carried out by Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla. He just needs to elaborate more on the measures that have been taken to realize optimal results.
