Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded a 43 percent surge in its domestic sales, reaching 11,631 units in April, from 8,144 a month earlier, with Brio Satya, Mobilio, and HR-V contributing to the rise.

"Sales in April were specifically driven by various sales programs offering facilities to consumers to purchase Honda cars," HPM Marketing and Aftersales Director Jonfis Fandy noted in a press statement released on Friday, May 17, 2019.

HPM sold 3,650 Honda Brio Satya in April, thereby contributing 31 percent to its total sales. The April sales of Honda Brio Satya increased four percent than 3,520 units sold in the previous month.

Some 20 percent of the total sales were attributed to Honda Mobilio, with 2,271 units, an increase of 46 percent from 1,558 units a month earlier.

In the meantime, 1.5-L Honda HR-V contributed 16 percent to the total sales, with 1,846 units as compared to 636 units in the earlier month.

The sales of other models, including Honda Jazz reached 1,253 units; 1,159 units of Honda CR-V; 717 units of Honda Brio RS; 326 units of 1.8-L Honda HR-V, 306 units of Honda BR-V, 13 units of Honda Civic Hatchback , 41 units of Honda City, 27 units of Honda Civic Turbo, 14 units of Honda Odyssey, and eight units of Honda Civic Type R.

"We continue to provide various programs in May to offer more value-add to consumers before the Eid homecoming period this year," he added.
