Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia's tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi, who teamed up with Eudice Chong of Hong Kong, won the women's doubles event in W25 ITF 2019 held in Nonthanburi, Thailand, Saturday. The Aldila/Eudice pair won in two sets with a score of 6(2)-7(7) 4-6 against Peangtarn Plipuech of Thailand and Akiko Omae of Japan in the finals.

In the women's singles event, Aidila reached the quarter-finals before losing to China's Xinyu Wang 4-6 6-4 4-6.

Earlier, the 24-year-old Indonesian also emerged as a winner of the women's singles event in ITF Singapore W25 tournament held last May.

The Asian Games 2018 gold medalist in the mixed doubles event is currently ranked 157th of ITF for the doubles event and 147th for the singles event.
