We want to repeat last year's success by taking part in one of the prestigious exhibitions in Macao
Beijing (ANTARA) - At least 13 key Indonesian products are on display at the "11th Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair" (GMBPF) which concludes on July 28, 2019. "We want to repeat last year's success by taking part in one of the prestigious exhibitions in Macao," acting Indonesian consul general for Hong Kong and Macao Mandala S Purba said Saturday.

At the expo, which began July 26, 2019 and is being held at The Venetian Macao, the Convention and Exhibition Centre, Indonesia has set up a special pavilion.

The key Indonesian products on display at the pavilion include handicraft goods in the form of clothes, accessories, shoes and bags.

In addition, there are also rattan interior decorations, room spray, silk clothes, snake hide bags, jewelry stone, silver, cow horn and spices typical to the Indonesian archipelago.

There are some 400 pavilions from various countries set up on 9,000 square meters of land.

Economic and Financial Secretary of the Macao Special Administrative Territory Leong Vai Tac visited the Indonesian pavilion.

Macao is a potential market for various Indonesian products to penetrate the Chinese market, particularly Guangdong Province sharing land borders with Macao.

The presence of the world's longest bridge linking Hong Kong, Macao to Zhuhai (Guangdong province) has shortened delivery time among the three regions.

Indonesia's exports to Macao in 2018 reached US$7,788,700. (INE)
