Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo paid a visit to a food estate and distribute productive presidential aid in Central Kalimantan on Thursday.

According to a statement received here, Thursday, the head of state arrived aboard the Presidential Aircraft-1 at the Tijilik Riwut Airport in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan.

Widodo arrived in Central Kalimantan at around 9:10 am Western Indonesia Time after a 70-minute journey from the Yogyakarta Adisutjipto military air base.

From the airport, the president continued his journey aboard the Air Force's Super Puma helicopter and headed to Pulang Pisau District.

The president was scheduled to inspect the food estate and rice cultivation, fish cages, and duck farms located in Pandih Batu Sub-District.

In the afternoon, the president would head to the Handep Hapakat Public Meeting Building, Pulang Pisau District, to distribute productive presidential aid to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The head of state was scheduled to return to Tjilik Riwut Airport, Palangka Raya City, aboard a helicopter.

During the trip, the president would also conduct an aerial inspection of the location of a cassava food estate in Gunung Mas District from the helicopter.

Upon arrival at the Tjilik Riwut Airport, the president and his entourage would immediately take off for Jakarta.

On the flight to Central Kalimantan Province, the president was accompanied by Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Major General Suharyanto, and Presidential Security Detail Commander Military Major General Maruli Simanjuntak.
