Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Indonesia (BI) reported capital outflow from the domestic financial market to have reached Rp4.81 trillion on May 17-19, 2022.

The capital outflow comprised Rp4.44 trillion from the government bond (SBN) market and Rp370 billion from the stock market, Executive Director/Chief of the BI Communication Department Erwin Haryono noted in a written statement released on Friday.

Overall, net capital outflow from the SBN market reached Rp105.04 trillion in the year ending on May 19, 2022.

Meanwhile, net capital inflow reached Rp62.82 trillion in the stock market over the same period.

Indonesia's five-year credit default swap (CDS) remained stable at a level of 128.39 basis points (bps) as of May 19, 2022, in comparison with 128.08 bps as of May 13, 2022.

Meanwhile, a yield on 10-year government bonds fell to 7.29 percent on Friday morning, from 7.3 percent on Thursday evening.

The yield is still far higher than the yield on 10-year US bonds, at a level of 2.837 percent.

BI also reported that the rupiah rose Rp130 per dollar on Friday morning to open at Rp14,600 as compared to Rp14,730 per dollar the day before.

Meanwhile, the US dollar index weakened at a level of 102.72.
