Hopefully, all good deeds of him will be accepted by Allah SWT...Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his condolences over the passing of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms Minister Tjahjo Kumolo on Friday.
"On behalf of Indonesian government, state and people, I extend my deepest condolences," he posted on his official Instagram account @jokowi, which was accessed from here on Friday.
Currently, the President is on a state visit to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he will attend a bilateral meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
"I was on a working visit abroad when I heard the sad news that Mr. Kumolo had passed away in Jakarta on Friday at 11:10 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Standard Time, UTC+7). Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun (Verily we belong to Allah SWT and surely to Him we will return)," he said.
He recalled that the late minister was a youth activist—he became the Central Java regional head of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) when he was in college—and a politician.
Kumolo passed away at the peak of his service to the nation as Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms Minister, Widodo said.
"Hopefully, all good deeds of him will be accepted by Allah SWT and all the families left behind by him may be patient," he remarked.
