We are still continuing to coordinate with other elements, so that our anticipation can be better
Bandung, West Java (ANTARA) - The National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) is searching and investigating groups suspected of having assisted in the suicide bombing at Astanaanyar police office on Wednesday, BNPT Head Commissioner General Boy Rafli Amar stated here, Thursday.

The agency also continues to investigate actions of the perpetrator before committing the bombing act that claimed the life of the bomber and a police officer, he remarked.

The agency head emphasized that violence-based ideology was very dangerous, and to this end, precautionary measures should be taken together.

To this end, the agency still needs to delve into the profile of the former terror inmate.

"We are still continuing to coordinate with other elements, so that our anticipation can be better," he remarked.

Moreover, he deemed that the police is often a target for terrorists, as they consider the law enforcement apparatus as a threat to their action.

"Thus, psychologically, among their groups, this makes the police a target for their vengeance. This is certainly very unfortunate, especially if there are people, who were fallen once again," he explained.
