"Yes, (this school) could be a breakthrough in the education sector," OIKN's Deputy for Financing and Investment Agung Wicaksono remarked in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He noted that the United States-based university had submitted a Letter of Intent (LoI) to build the school to the authority, adding that the university's alumni in Indonesia have demonstrated their support for the discourse on the school's development.
Wicaksono revealed that the university had submitted the LoI in connection with its intent to build its sustainability school, or Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, in the new capital city, which is being developed in East Kalimantan Province.
He then remarked that the authority gladly welcomed the university's intent and lauded the nation's children for their commitment and care for the development of the country's new capital city.
