The DXC is a result of collaboration between private companies PT NTT Indonesia Technology, Microsoft Indonesia, and Sinar Mas Land.
"The government is committed to expediting the development of smart manufacturing and smart cities by developing 5G and 6G technology, with the end goal of creating 100 smart cities in Indonesia by 2045," he remarked, as quoted from Sinar Mas Land's website here on Friday.
Setiadi said he is optimistic about the DXC encouraging Indonesia's digital talents to create more innovations instrumental for developing smart cities.
Setiadi then expressed hope that related industry players would take notes on the establishment of the DXC and make the most of the convenience offered by digital technology to elevate the people's living standards and transform Indonesia into a developed country.
The DXC is situated on an area of 525 square meters of land in the Digital Hub Zone, BSD City, Tangerang District.
The Digital Hub Zone is dedicated to producing digital innovation, accelerating business development, and expediting Indonesia's digital economic growth, in the hopes of achieving targets set in the Digital Indonesia 2045 Vision.
At the DXC, people can find an auditorium and several areas designated for exhibitions and meetings that can also be used for various activities, such as digital innovation incubation, digital business development, and digital capacity-building.
The DXC also offers technology solution assistance to help people identify technology needs based on the type and scale of specific industries while paying attention to the aspects of security, connectivity, and artificial intelligence.
