North Penajam Paser, E Kaliman (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture stated that the Nusantara Cultural Harmony Festival (FHBN), held in North Penajam Paser District, East Kalimantan, on September 5-7, helped strengthening the nation's character and value building.

"Let us revive the original values of Indonesia's character through work ethic, mutual cooperation, and integrity," the ministry's Deputy for Coordination of Mental Revolution, Cultural Advancement and Sports Achievement Warsito said here on Saturday.

He emphasized that the FHBN has been held twice in North Penajam Paser, where Indonesia's new capital city Nusantara.is.located, to highlight the importance of cultural and human resources development as the main supporter of Nusantara's growth.

Warsito said that the result of a survey carried out during the closing ceremony of the FHBN showed that about 82.8 percent of respondents were highly interested in the event.

Regarding the role of the FHBN in supporting Nusantara's development, he noted that 81.5 percent of respondents said the festival is important to support the new capital development.

Furthermore, he stated that 89.7 percent of respondents hoped that the FHBN would regularly be held.

According to him, cultural advancement is a long-term step that must be taken, including in the Nusantara area. Thus, the FHBN will be continued in Nusantara's buffer zones.

He emphasized that the government continues to ensure and support the North Penajam Paser District and all Nusantara's buffer zones to develop and grow and to ensure no one is left behind due to the new capital city's development.

"The readiness of human resources to support Nusantara development so that they can participate and play an important role is being prioritized," he said.
