She urged all stakeholders to provide opportunities for young people to contribute to the country's development, recognizing their potential to lead the nation in the years to come.
"Let's improve our care for Indonesian youth through improvements in youth services," Widyanti said at the commemoration of the 96th Youth Pledge Day here on Monday.
She called for enhanced governance of youth services and increased resource support to improve the Youth Development Index.
The minister also praised the contributions of Indonesian youth in various fields, such as economy, sports, and environment.
She emphasized the importance of continued youth involvement in national development to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
"Indonesia is a big country. Therefore, the participation and hard work of youth are vital to maintain it," Widyanti added.
