Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta on Sunday at 5:30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) after concluding his state visits to several countries.

The president was welcomed by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, according to the president's media team in Jakarta.

In addition to the vice president, members of the Red and White Cabinet were present, including Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi.

Vice President Gibran and the other officials were waiting on the far side of the red carpet to greet the president.

President Prabowo then shook hands with the vice president and other officials.

The president’s state visits spanned from November 8 to November 23, 2024, during which he visited six countries. His tour began in China, where he met with President Xi Jinping, followed by a visit to the United States to meet President Joe Biden.

Prabowo continued his tour by attending two major international conferences: the APEC Summit in Peru and the G20 Summit in Brazil.

He then traveled to the United Kingdom, where he met with King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The final stop on his tour was the United Arab Emirates, where he met with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Throughout his multi-nation tour, President Prabowo secured significant opportunities for investment and cooperation in sectors such as defense, food, nutrition, health, technology, and energy. He also secured investment commitments totaling US$18.57 billion.
