The president made these remarks during a meeting with President MBZ at Qasr Al Watn, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday, November 23, as shown in a video uploaded by the Presidential Secretariat on YouTube.
During Saturday's meeting, President MBZ expressed pride in the strong relations between the UAE and Indonesia, emphasizing their long-standing ties and optimism for continued growth in bilateral relations.
An Indonesian medical team, including ten personnel from three branches of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), arrived in Rafah, Gaza Strip, on September 7 to treat refugees and victims of Israeli strikes at a field hospital operated by the UAE.
The team joined the Emirati Integrated Field Hospital in Gaza as part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," strengthening international cooperation to provide healthcare to wounded Palestinians in the besieged region, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The hospital has treated over 47,000 patients and performed more than 17,000 surgeries so far, according to the agency.
In previous occasions, President Prabowo has reiterated Indonesia's call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, including at the G20 Summit in Brazil and in discussions with various world leaders.
President Prabowo's visit to the UAE was the final stop on his series of state visits.
Before his visit to the UAE, he traveled to China to meet President Xi Jinping, the United States to meet President Joe Biden, and the United Kingdom to meet King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The president also attended the APEC Summit in Peru and the G20 Summit in Brazil.
