"More than 400 people are affected, and the Social Affairs Ministry is providing for all of them," Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said here Tuesday.
Emergency aid, including food, clean water, tents, blankets, clothing, and medicine, was delivered through the ministry's Nipotowe Technical Implementation Unit in Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi Province.
A public kitchen has also been set up, and trauma recovery teams are on standby if needed.

The assistance, valued at Rp202.19 million (about USD12,500), was distributed shortly after the quake struck on Sunday.
"Managing refugees is our top priority in any disaster. We ensure their basic needs are met immediately," Yusuf said.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) initially reported a magnitude-6.0 earthquake at 6:36 a.m. local time, later revising it to 5.8. The epicenter was located 13 kilometers northwest of Poso City at a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to the Central Sulawesi disaster agency, 433 residents — across 184 families — were affected, including 31 elderly people, 23 toddlers, and five individuals with disabilities.
Meanwhile, the death toll from Sunday's 5.8-magnitude earthquake has risen to two after a second victim, Ernius Bambe, 57, died early Tuesday.
Bambe succumbed to severe injuries after receiving intensive care at Poso Regional Public Hospital (RSUD), following the earlier death of 43-year-old Katrin Kande on Sunday night, hospital director Jemy Wololy said.
