Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower has called on more than six thousand ministries, state agencies, and private companies to participate in the third batch of the National Internship Program this year.

“Our ministry is eager to invite companies and young talents to prepare for registration. In Batch 3, we aim to collaborate with 6,542 companies, ministries, and agencies to provide internship opportunities for up to 13,652 participants,” Ministry Secretary-General Cris Kuntadi said.

In a statement cited here on Sunday, he noted that the third batch is expected to involve 2,012 government institutions offering 2,800 internship placements, along with 4,530 companies providing 10,852 opportunities.

Kuntadi explained that registration is available online through the MagangHub platform, which is integrated with the Ministry of Manpower’s SIAPkerja employment service portal. He added that registration for internship organizers in Batch 3 will be open from November 24 to December 3.

He said the process will continue with participant registration from December 4 to 7, followed by a selection period running until December 11.

He emphasized that the selection process will take place within a limited timeframe because the program serves as a closing activity for the 2025 budget year.

Kuntadi further explained that selected participants will be announced on December 12, with the orientation program beginning on December 15.

He expressed hope that participants will make the most of the six-month practical training period, which will extend into 2026, to strengthen their competencies.

Introduced as one of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programs, the National Internship Program is intended to help fresh university graduates adapt to real work environments and align their skills with industry and business needs.

This year, the government targets the participation of around 100,000 graduates, with approximately 15,000 joining Batch 1 and about 62,000 in Batch 2.
