Sadikin said here on Saturday that the two facilities are located in Lokop Sub-district, East Aceh District, and in Jambur Lak-Lak area, Southeast Aceh District. Both were completed within just three weeks.
“We thank the Public Works Ministry for constructing these health centers very quickly. Cross-sector collaboration like this is crucial to ensure that public health services can recover promptly,” he said.
In addition to the construction and inauguration of the facilities, the minister praised parties who have provided medical equipment and furniture, enabling the two health centers to begin operations immediately.
The assistance included three ambulances, three health service motorcycles, 35 Starlink units, 35 generators, and 35 clean water filters distributed to various areas in Aceh.
“We received and distributed assistance in the form of ambulances and various supporting facilities. This assistance is very helpful in ensuring health services continue in affected areas,” he said.
He also emphasized the government’s attention to restoring housing for health workers affected by the disaster. The Health Ministry is conducting regular monitoring to ensure reimbursement and repairs are promptly realized.
“We monitor every two weeks so health workers’ homes can receive repair funding. Hopefully before Ramadan and Eid, they can return home comfortably and serve the community optimally,” he said.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to assisting regional governments in post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction, ensuring health services return to normal and strengthening resilience in disaster-prone areas.
