Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is almost certain to reshuffle his cabinet in October 2011, presidential spokesman Daniel Sparingga has said.

"President Yudhoyono has already expressed explicitly the cabinet reshuffle plan at a limited meeting on Friday," Daniel said in a discussion on "Polemic: They Say There Will Be A Reshuffle" here on Saturday.

The speakers in the discussion are Golkar Party deputy secretary general Happy Bone Zulkarnaen, Indo Barometer Director Muhammad Qodari, and Sugeng Sardjadi Syndicate political observer Sukardi Rinakit.

Daniel said President Yudhoyono to date has yet to discuss the reshuffle with the ministers as well as the leaders of political parties whose ministers would be replaced, except with Vice President Boediono.

"The president will probably discuss the matter with the ministers and the political party leaders next week," Daniel said.

Meanwhile, another presidential spokesman Julian A Pasha said on Friday that the president would consider achievement and integrity factors to put the right man in the right place in the cabinet reshuffle.

"The president`s consideration in placing the right man in the right place is based on achievement, performance, and integrity," Julian said before attending a limited cabinet meeting on Friday.

At a function to open the 9th national conference of Tarbiyah Islamiah organization as part of his working visit to Jambi on Thursday evening, President Yudhoyono confirmed that he would reshuffle his cabinet before October 20, 2011.

"Next month the second United Indonesia Cabinet will be two years old, so it is time for an evaluation. Thus I say now is the right time to reorder the cabinet that I lead because I want its performance to be much better in the next three years," President Yudhoyono said.

The head of state said the reshuffle he would make before October 20 was based on rational considerations and an objective assessment, referring to the cabinet`s performance and integrity.
