Tokyo (ANTARA News/Yonhap-0ANA) - Japan said Friday that North Korea`s long-range rocket crashed into the ocean after a flight time of just over one minute.

Japanese Defense Minister Naoki Tanaka made the remarks shortly after North Korea defiantly fired off the Unha-3 rocket at 7:39 a.m.

The defense minister said North Korea`s rocket launch did not affect the Japanese territory. (*)
