All the pumps have been made available at the flood-hit areas ..."Tangerang (ANTARA News) - Tangerang city administration in Banten province has made 74 pumps ready to prevent floodwaters from inundating numerous settlement areas.
Head of the Directorate General of Highways (Bina Marga) and Water Resources of Tangerang city Nana Trisyana stated here on Thursday that besides pumps, nine units of car pumps were also prepared to overcome the floods.
"All the pumps have been made available at the flood-hit areas to channel the floodwaters from residential areas to the nearby river," he noted.
In addition, some other pumps were also made ready at the Total Persada housing complex, which is severely affected by the floods.
