Patani Utara, North Maluku (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo promised that the government will build an airport on the island of Halmahera, North Maluku.

The airport would be for medium sized aircraft, the president indicated when officially commissioning the Tapeleo seaport, Wayabuka seaport and Bicoli seaport in the regency of Halmahera Tengah in on Monday.

He said as for the location the regional administrations could discuss it with the Transport Minister Budi Karya Sumadi.(*)
