The security personnel from the military, police and Jakarta provincial administration were deployed in several places, Chief of the Central Jakarta Police Senior Commissioner Harry Kurniawan said.
The police personnel secured the ring two zone near the venue of the presidential debate and support security in the ring one zone, he said.
"The first object of our security from the police is to back up military personnel from outside the ring one zone. The ring one zone is the venue of the presidential debate, the ring two zone is outside the venue of the debate and the ring three zone is around the Bung Karno Stadium and Istora Senayan Hall including the East Parking Lot," he said.
