"The infrastructure and the environment are interconnected. I think that environmental issues are the top priority," Aria Bima said here on Sunday.
He gave an example of the government`s commitment to issue a Presidential Regulation (Perpres) to regulate the development of the electric car industry in the country.
"We have prepared a Presidential Regulation (Perpres) to regulate the development of the electric car industry in the country. Electric cars are environmentally friendly transportation. This is very related," he remarked.
In addition, Joko Widodo has also focused on realizing Indonesia into a world food barn.
Indonesia no longer supports industries that need agricultural and plantation products.
"It is no longer mining, plantations, to support industries that need oil, rubber and cocoa," he said.
The second debate will take place at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta on Sunday night and will be guided by two moderators, Tommy Tjokro and Anisha Dasuki.
Debates with the theme of energy, natural resources, environment, food and infrastructure will only be followed by candidates.
The 2019 presidential election is followed by two pairs of candidates, serial number 01 Jokowi-Ma`ruf and serial number 02 Prabowo-Sandiaga.
