Joko Widodo was accompanied by his wife, Iriana Joko Widodo, his daughter Kahiyang Ayu and daughter-in-law Bobby Nasution as well as granddaughter Sedah Mirah.
The former mayor of Surakarta explained that the debate would discuss the economic sector, including the development of a digital economy.
"Yes, I will convey the development of a digital economy," Joko Widodo said to the media in relation to digital economic development.
Joko Widodo explained that he would discuss a number of government's efforts in developing the economy.
"Yes, the practices, not the theories," Joko Widodo said.
The fifth round of the presidential debate, where the two pairs will battle it out on stage one last time to convince undecided voters, was held on April 13, 2019, at the Sultan Hotel in Jakarta.
The theme of fifth round of the presidential debate is economy and social welfare, finance, investment, trade and industry.
The 2019 presidential election was followed by two pairs of candidates, Jokowi-Ma`ruf and Prabowo-Sandiaga.
