"Several of them, notably reaching 58 percent, recovered, while 42 percent are yet being treated, and no one died," Riau Health Office Head Mimi Yuliana Nazir stated here on Monday.
The number of infected health workers and employees of medical care facilities jumped drastically, from 28 recorded on July 23, to 62 on July 27, according to the office data.

The infected health workers constituted 12 doctors, 18 nurses, nine midwives, two health workers in the health department, two analysts, and a member of a laboratory expert team.
The non-health workers comprised five administrative employees, two from the management staff, two security personnel, and one employee respectively of the training, surveillance, and workforce units.
Some 29 of them resided in Pekanbaru, 11 in Dumai City, seven in Kampar District, six in Indragiri Hilir, three in Rokan Hulu, two respectively in Bengkalis and Pelalawan, and one each in Siak and Kuantan Singingi.
The maximum number of cases, reaching 22, were observed at the Arifin Achmad General Hospital (RSUD) in Pekanbaru, followed by six cases each at the Bangkinang Health Center and Eka Hospital Hospital, five cases each at the Puri Husana Regional Hospital and the Dumai City Health Service, and the Sungai Sembilan Health Center and Jaya Mukti Health Center, with two cases, among others.
