"This morning, we conduct mass vaccinations at the TNI headquarters. This is already the third day. Today is a day for a bigger target. Hence, we are optimistic of 1,500 personnel being covered today despite earlier 1,200 personnel being the target," Head of the Indonesian Military Health Center Maj. Gen. Ratmono stated on the sidelines of the COVID-19 vaccination at the Ahmad Yani Sports Hall, TNI Headquarters, in Cilangkap.
Ratmono confirmed that the TNI soldiers vaccinated this Wednesday were those frequently interacting with the public on a one-one basis, including personnel enforcing the 3M discipline of wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.

"This also includes personnel who conduct COVID-19 tracing," the major general stated.
The Ministry of Health offers 125 thousand doses of vaccine for TNI soldiers, according to the Indonesian Military Health Center head.
The COVID-19 vaccination is being conducted to support government programs in a bid to expedite the response and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The quantitative vaccination targets are soldiers and civil servants of the TNI Headquarters as well as families and Indonesian citizens over the age of 18 that are registered as targets for the COVID-19 vaccination recipients at the First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) and Advanced Level Health Facilities (FKTL).
The TNI headquarters is according priority to 18,763 TNI soldiers and civil servants to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to fight the spread of the virus.
