The flood victims are in dire need of assistance, especially food stuffs, he noted.

The assistance is direly needed since the village, located in the upper reaches of Subayang River, is only accessible through river transport modes.

It takes three hours to reach Luda Village from the nearby village Gema by modes of river transport.

Luda, with a population of 450, is the oldest village in Kampar District. Most of the villagers earn their living by tapping rubber at relatively low wages.
