Head of ANTARA's Jakarta Buffer Bureau Budi Setiawanto received the award directly at the 2023 Industrial-Government Expo (UI I Gov Expo) held at the UI Campus here on Tuesday.
"This award is a special gift for ANTARA News Agency because soon it will celebrate its 86th anniversary," Setiawanto remarked.
He thanked UI for the award of the best partner in the digital media category that ANTARA received.
"This is a real pentahelix collaboration between academicians, the government, media, private parties, and the community," he noted.
He also praised the UI I Gov Expo 2023 activity and hoped that the event would become an annual agenda and have more participants.
"We laud the implementation of the UI I Gov Expo. Hopefully, it will become an annual agenda with more participants," he remarked.
Meanwhile, UI Cooperation Director Toto Pranoto stated that the award is a form of pentahelix cooperation between the university and digital media, including ANTARA.
"This award is in the framework of pentahelix collaboration," Pranoto stated.
ANTARA is one of the media organizations that collaborates with UI in reporting its research, education, and community service activities.
"In this case, mass media should cooperate with UI to make a big contribution and provide education to the community. We hope that this cooperation can be improved," he remarked.
Recently, ANTARA won two awards at Top Digital Awards 2023, namely the "Top Digital Implementation" and the "Top Leader on Digital Implementation."
ANTARA's Director of Commercial, Business Development, and Information Technology, Jaka Sugiyanta, thanked the organizer for bestowing the award.
Sugiyanta said the awards came as a gift for ANTARA that will soon turn 86 on December 13.
