The 20-year-old, who hailed from Bandung, West Java, beat other contestants from 67 countries and territories to receive the crown at the end of the event in Nowy Scz, Poland, on Saturday (July 6).
"Harashta Haifa Zahra (20) from Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat was crowned the 15th #misssupranational at the conclusion of the live final show in #nowysacz #malopolska," according to Miss Supranational on their official Instagram, as observed here on Sunday.
Zahra received the crown from Andrea Aguilera, the Ecuadorian model who won the 2023 edition of Miss Supranational.
Upon being crowned, the environmental engineering student at Bandung's National Institute of Technology (ITENAS) expressed her pride, thankfulness, and gratitude to her supporters.
“It still feels unreal and I can’t wait to fulfill my duties as the new #misssupranational2024 It’s going to be a very special year and my heart is filled with pride," she said.
"Thank you to my country for your support. #indonesia we did it!" she added.
Zahra represented Indonesia in the latest Miss Supranational contest after emerging victorious in the 2024 Puteri Indonesia national beauty pageant last March.
She made her home province win back-to-back the Puteri Indonesia title after Farhana Nariswari, who also hailed from Bandung, won the contest in 2023.
Miss Supranational beauty pageant, along with its male counterpart Mister Supranational, is organised by the World Beauty Association. Miss Supranational began its first edition in 2009.
