"We have deployed 332 joint personnel," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Susatyo Purnomo Condro.
He emphasized that all security personnel were unarmed and prioritized a humanistic and professional approach in facilitating the demonstrators’ right to express their views.
"None of the officers carried firearms," he confirmed.
Susatyo also urged protesters to maintain order and avoid provocation.
“You are welcome to express your aspirations in a polite and orderly manner so the rally can proceed peacefully,” he added.
Meanwhile, Gambir Metro Police Chief Rezeki R. Respati stated that coordination had been established with all relevant parties to ensure a conducive environment.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the US Embassy in Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Sunday morning to show support for Palestine.
Participants came from various regions, traveling by both private vehicles and public transportation, including trains.
Police designated a special demonstration area approximately 50 meters from the embassy to ensure safety and order throughout the event.
