Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto urged all state officials to return to the noble values of Pancasila and help prevent the national ideology from becoming mere rhetoric.

In his address at the Pancasila Day commemoration at the Pancasila Building Ceremony Ground in Jakarta on Monday, the Head of State emphasized the importance of cleansing the government of corrupt practices and abuse of power.

“Do not let Pancasila become just a mantra; do not let Pancasila become merely a slogan. All Indonesians must enjoy the vast wealth of their country,” he told the participants of the ceremony.

He sternly asked officials who fail to carry out their mandates to resign before they are dismissed.

“All forms of abuse and leakages must stop. Any official unable to perform their duties better step down before I remove them,” he said.

Therefore, he stressed that the nation’s strength can only be built through unity and clean governance.

“We can only be strong if our country is free from abuse, corruption, manipulation, and fraud,” he said.
