Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan and Minister of Investment and Downstream Development Rosan Roeslani will take part in 200 meetings during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, officials said Saturday.
The announcement was made by Tri Tharyat, director of Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a media briefing in New York.
“Minister Hasan, Minister Roeslani, the Human Rights Minister, and the Health Minister have packed schedules. They will speak at various events we are hosting or co-hosting,” Tharyat said.
He said Indonesia received 258 meeting requests during the UNGA High-Level Week, held from September 22–27, 2025.
After reviewing priorities and logistics, the ministry selected about 200 meetings to attend.
“We couldn’t accommodate all requests. So far, we have confirmed participation in around 200 meetings,” Tharyat said.

The sessions will cover a wide range of UN agenda items, including general debates, bilateral talks led by the Foreign Minister and his delegation, and several events initiated by Indonesia.
Discussion topics include business, economics, refugee issues, international law, nuclear security, environmental protection, and public health.
Meetings will take place both inside and outside UN headquarters in New York.
Tharyat said 145 of the UN’s 193 member states have confirmed attendance.
Of these, 137 will be represented by heads of state or government, five by vice presidents, three by deputy prime ministers, and 43 by ministers or other senior officials.
Meanwhile, President Prabowo Subianto arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport at 4:50 p.m. local time after a visit to Osaka, Japan.
He is scheduled to speak during the general debate at the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, delivering the third address, following Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and US President Donald Trump.
