This ICRM improvement is inseparable from stakeholders' collaborative effort in implementing the mental revolution movement to develop Indonesia from the central government level to regional level
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Mental Revolution National Movement (GNRM) is seeking to encourage the internalization of strategic values—integrity, work ethic, and mutual assistance—by people, according to Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy.

This internalization of strategic values should be implemented at the level of the individual, family, social institution, community, and state institutions, he said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The ministry, which has been tasked with conducting GRNM implementation as well as coordination and synchronization with program coordinators, expects that the collective movement will encourage a change in mindset and behavior toward development, he added.

According to Effendy, GNRM is collaborating with all stakeholders to encourage mental changes and realize changes that people can see.

This was reflected in the mental revolution achievement index (ICRM) of 2021, which was recorded at 70.47 points, or higher than the ICRM reading of 67.01 in 2018.

"This ICRM improvement is inseparable from stakeholders' collaborative effort in implementing the mental revolution movement to develop Indonesia from the central government level to regional level," he remarked.

To this end, Effendy voiced support for the 2022 Mental Revolution Award as a form of appreciation for the efforts made by parties that have conducted real, measured, inspirational, and sustainable changes.

"The 2022 Mental Revolution Award was given to all parties who have become a pioneer of change in society," he said.

A total of 40 people were conferred the awards in 2022 in 5 categories: provincial government, district or city government, GNRM partner institution, figure and institution, and social generosity.

The recipients of the 2022 Mental Revolution Awards, which were presented on December 21, 2022, were evaluated by a board of juries comprising experts and practitioners from various fields.
