Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (PMK) expects that the bestowment of the 2022 Mental Revolution Award can encourage all parties to conduct positive changes.

The 2022 Mental Revolution Award will be given to everyone, who have become a pioneer of change for various aspects that have been ongoing in society, Mental Revolution Assistant Deputy at the Ministry Katiman Kartiwinomo noted.

"Parties that will receive the 2022 Mental Revolution Award are deemed to have carried out changes to support the Mental Revolution National Movement," he noted during the award press conference here, Monday.

"The government bestows this award so that the Mental Revolution National Movement can continue to proceed even more optimally and to create a role model to mobilize the entire strata of society," he affirmed.

Kartiwinomo elaborated on the evaluation criteria for the 2022 Mental Revolution Award. Firstly, the recipients must have conducted actions that are fundamental in nature.

Secondly, these actions should lead to positive changes and impact to society. Lastly, these actions must also bring social justice to the public.

The Ministry's secretary, Y.B. Satya Sananugraha, stated that the 2022 Mental Revolution Award will be held as a mark of appreciation for parties that have brought real, measured, inspiring, and sustainable changes.

These parties include government institutions, the private sector and communities.

Recipients of the 2022 Mental Revolution, which will be held on December 21, 2022, underwent an evaluation process by a board of jury comprising experts and practitioners from various fields.

The Mental Revolution Award will be bestowed by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, as well as related ministers.

The 2022 Mental Revolution Award is the second award after the first one held in 2019, Sananugraha stated.
