Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno hoped that more collaborations between the government and private parties would be established in the tourism and creative industry sectors as it could open jobs for the people.

Uno made the statement here on Saturday, regarding the implementation of the 18th Edition of the Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2023 held on June 2-5 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The international music festival remains popular among audiences of various age groups and has become a part of Indonesia's creative economy development.

"It is estimated that 10 thousand workforces are indirectly benefited (by the event). It is massive, and we are proud that a special line has been prepared for international musicians at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport," Uno stated.
