Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) presents four modes of transportation at the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway's Halim Station in Jakarta to improve services for Whoosh train passengers.

"The presence of four modes of transportation at the Halim Station is important to realize intermodal integration, so that people can switch to (means of) public transportation," PT KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi stated here on Wednesday.

Riyadi explained that the newest mode of transportation is the Damri shuttle buses that can transport Whoosh passengers from and to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.

Meanwhile, passenger access to and from Halim Station has been accommodated by the 7W route of the Transjakarta bus, the Greater Jakarta (Jabodebek) LRT, and conventional taxis on standby at the designated waiting area to serve passengers.

He remarked that the Damri service can be accessed at the north entrance of the Halim Station.

Damri's operational time is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time for departures from Halim Station and 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time from the Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

"Currently, there is a promo fare (for Damri shuttle bus) up to 50 percent, or only Rp40 thousand for Whoosh Train passengers during the trial period," he remarked.

Meanwhile, passengers can access the Halim LRT Station by crossing the bridge connecting the Halim Whoosh Station.

The route served at the Halim LRT Station is the Dukuh Atas-Jati Mulya line, and the fare is Rp3 thousand for the first one kilometer and then a maximum of Rp20 thousand on weekdays and a maximum of Rp10 thousand on weekends.

Passengers can ride the Transjakarta bus for Rp3,500 by paying with an electronic money card.

Furthermore, the exit of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will be connected to the drop-off area of the Halim Station.

Meanwhile, the DI Pandjaitan Street is the main access for entering the Halim Whoosh Station.
