The three vice presidential candidates will attend the debate which will raise the themes related to energy, natural resources, food, carbon taxes, the environment, agrarian affairs, and indigenous people.
The second vice presidential debate or the fourth debate that will be held by KPU will be guided by two moderators, namely Retno Pinasti and Zilvia Iskandar. There will be 11 panelists who will work as a team to arrange questions for the three vice presidential candidates.
Vice Presidential candidate number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar who will stand in the middle position, between VP candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka and number 3 Mahfud MD, will deliver his pair's vision and mission in the debate.
"In the fourth debate, the number 1 (VP) candidate will deliver his pair's vision and mission; As for the position, the number 1 candidate will be the middle. It has been arranged," KPU Commissioner August Mellaz said here on Friday (January 19).
In addition, Mellaz explained that the selection of JCC Senayan as the venue for the fourth election debate was due to the availability of location and the familiarity of the three winning teams from each pair of candidates.
Previously, the first VP debate or the second debate held by KPU on December 22, 2023, was also held at JCC Senayan.
In addition, during the fourth debate, each liaison officer (LO) of the three pairs will be equipped with a handy talkie.
The handy talkie, which is to facilitate communication in supervising the course of the debate, will be accessible to the "super LO", the KPU team, and the broadcasting media.
