She inspected the condition of tourism support facilities, such as ticket booths, toilets, breastfeeding rooms, restaurants, safari tours, rides, and the Giant Panda Palace.
"We are inspecting many things. First, we want to see how the flow is because the Puncak area will definitely be crowded; there will be many events at the same time, and many people will be coming," Puspa said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The second most important aspect is the facilities and cleanliness. When there are many tourists, the facilities must be maintained," she added.
Puspa checked the security infrastructure and mitigation measures implemented by the management of the tourist attraction to provide a safe and comfortable experience for tourists.
The government is striving to ensure that tourists can enjoy activities safely and comfortably during the holiday period, especially considering the increasing number of tourist visits.
"This means that we have to make sure they feel happy and have a good experience when visiting tourist attractions," she said.
Puspa said that her ministry is monitoring tourism activities during the year-end holidays.
"Not only the ministry, but also the National Disaster Mitigation Agency, the National Police, the Armed Forces, and others must jointly maintain tourism activities and tourist movements during the year-end," she explained.
