Lauding Ariani, who received the Golden Buzzer from one of the AGT judges, Simon Cowell, Puspayoga said: "Ariani has achieved amazingly by winning the Golden Buzzer at such a prestigious event."
She also praised Ariani's parents for providing support and care for their daughter so that she could grow into a great individual capable of maximizing her potential.
"Her achievement is inseparable from a very long process. I praise Ariani's parents who have provided extraordinary assistance and nurturing," the minister said.
Ariani Nisma Putri, a solo pop singer and songwriter from Kampar, Riau, also received praise from AGT judges Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara.
In the preliminary audition aired by a United States-based television station on June 6, 2023, Ariani's performance amazed audiences from many parts of the world, with her winning the Golden Buzzer.
The Golden Buzzer grants contestants direct access to the semi-finals of the show, skipping other rounds.
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology also granted the Onward Advanced Indonesia Scholarship (BIM) to Ariani.
Responding to Ariani's success at AGT, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said that his ministry will support the nation's best talents so that they can get more involved in international events.
Uno then invited all Indonesians to lend their support by voting for her.
"The Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry is ready to promote this so she can get the best achievement," he said.
